Three things trip people up. First, a newer model number isn't automatically faster, because a recent budget card can trail an older mid-range one. Second, laptop graphics chips often perform below the desktop card with the same name. Third, check your video memory, not just the card's name: the minimum asks for 6 GB. If you're accepted into the playtest, that's the earliest chance to see how Seikyu Let's Go! runs on your own hardware, though a test build isn't the final game.
Is Seikyu Let's Go! on Steam Deck?
No Rating Yet
Valve hasn't published a Steam Deck compatibility rating for Seikyu Let's Go!. That's not the same as unsupported. It just hasn't been rated. Ratings often appear close to launch, and we'll update this page as soon as one shows up.
What a Steam Deck Rating Means
Valve sorts games into four groups:
- Verified: works fully with the Deck's built-in controls and screen.
- Playable: works, but may need some manual setup.
- Unsupported: some or all of the game doesn't currently work on Deck.
- Unknown: Valve hasn't tested it yet.
One common mix-up: Steam's "Linux: no" means there's no native Linux version of Seikyu Let's Go!. Steam Deck compatibility is rated by Valve separately, so the two aren't the same answer.
Will Seikyu Let's Go! Come to PS5, Xbox, or Switch?
Console Status
No console version of Seikyu Let's Go! has been announced. That covers PS5, PS4, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. None of them has been confirmed, and we won't guess.
If You're Waiting for a Console Version
Watch the official announcements at gamewithace.com, plus this page's update log. Wishlisting on Steam only covers the PC version. If you're happy to play on PC, our release date tracker follows the Steam launch.
What About Mac and Linux?
Steam lists Seikyu Let's Go! for Windows only, with no macOS or Linux version. Compatibility workarounds aren't an officially supported way to play, and we haven't tested any. Steam Deck is a separate case, covered above.
File Size and Download
The minimum spec asks for 15 GB of free space and the recommended spec asks for 25 GB. These are free-space requirements, not the size of the download, and the final download size has not been announced. If you want to be safe, keep 25 GB free. Steam also recommends an SSD at the minimum tier, and says one is required for best streaming performance at the recommended tier.
